This question is for all hearing impaired?

hearing aid batteries
Osufan asked:

What is the best brand name of hearing aid battery that last longer than a week? I’ve been using Rayovac and it’s not lasting longer than a week. Can anyone suggest a good brand name that will last longer than a week? This would be most helpful for me and many other hearing impared kids and adults.

If you are having batteries last a week, that is actually pretty good. It depends on the type of hearing aids that you have. I wear digital hearing aids, and I’ve tried Energizer, Duracell, Rayovac, and Walgreens and CVS brands. Of all those, Rayovac lasts the longest for me (4-5 days). My mom has older hearing aids that aren’t digital and she likes Energizer and they last her about 1 1/2 weeks. I know it’s so expensive, but it’s one of those things that we can’t do without. You can usually find coupons for batteries either on line or in the ads that come in the newspaper, and that helps. I also watch all the ads for sales or discounted offers and try to stock up on several packages. The cost of hearing aid batteries is also deductible as a medical expense on taxes. I’d definitely be interested to know if you find out about any brands that last longer!
